MBC Student Ministry

(6th - 12th grades)

MBC Student Ministry exists to lead students to develop an authentic faith as Christ expresses His life through them.

MBC Student Ministry is a time for students to worship, learn about God, and connect with others through small groups.

Sundays 9:30–10:30 a.m.

Be sure to check out the calendar below for Student schedules and events!

Guests on Sunday
  1. Students meet in the Loft where they will be welcomed by leaders and other students.
  2. During this time students will play a game, worship, and listen to a message prepared specifically for them.
  3. New students will be asked to fill out a guest card.
  4. Once dismissed, students will be directed to meet their parents in the worship center.

MBC Student Community Groups

At MBC Students we have a heart to see students grasp God's word. One way we do this is by giving students an opportunity to digest, talk about, and ask questions about the messages we teach. At community groups your student will connect with students their age (and gender when appropriate) and discuss how the message applies to them specifically.

High School- Sunday Nights 5:00-6:30p.m. @ The Shumake's (e-mail Tanner Shumake for location info)

Middle School- Wednesday Nights 6:30-7:45p.m. @ MBC (the Loft)

Student Curriculum

Our MBC Family Ministry strives to equip & encourage families to continue discussions about Jesus in the home. One way our Student Ministry does this is by providing the curriculum and video from our Sunday Services.

MBC Student Missions exists to be an outlet for Jesus Christ to express His life through our students here and around the world. – Acts 1:8

Each summer, we send students and leaders to various locations to participate in God's work. We believe that when students become involved in God's Kingdom work, they grow rapidly. Our goal is for students to realize that Christ wants to use them to Trust, Love, Serve, Share and Go... Without Borders

SUMMER 2020 MISSION DATES coming soon!!!

For the last 2 years our students have been traveling to South San Antonio to work along side Blood and Fire Ministries in reaching and supporting low income families. This has been an amazing partnership and we feel the Lord has done and will continue to do some amazing things through our students before, during, and after the trip. Each student is taught to raise their own support for the trip, and trip costs are typically around $375.

If you would like to help support a student or have any questions please contact our Student Missions Coordinator Ashlee Shumake.
