core values

INDWELLING CHRIST

Jesus, through the Holy Spirit lives within those who have placed their faith in Him, and He is our source for living and ministry. (Gal.2:20)

LEADING WITH GRACE

Jesus leads with grace when it comes to us, and therefore as we surrender to Him, He will guide us to lead with grace when it comes to our relationships with others. (Eph. 4:2)

BIBLICAL TEACHING

As the inspired word of God, the Bible reveals God, is authoritative, and is relevant to our lives. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

OUTSIDERS MATTER

Those outside of the church matter to Christ, and as we surrender to Him, He will lead us to befriend and share our stories about the life changing grace we have experienced in our own lives. (Mark 2:15-17)

FAMILY MINISTRY

God uses the church and families to disciple the next generation, so we value a partnership between the church and families. (Dt 6:4-9)

AUTHENTICITY

Because of who we are in Christ, we can be who we are and open up with others about what we are experiencing in life.  (Ro. 8:1)

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that the Scriptures are inspired by God, inerrant and authoritative, without error in the original writing, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the virgin Mary; we believe that Christ shed his blood on the cross, dying for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that he arose bodily from the grave and ascended into heaven.

We believe that all individuals are separated from God by sin and can only find forgiveness and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity, equal with God the Father and God the Son; he indwells every believer from the moment of salvation, making them a new creation and empowering them for a life that is honoring to God.

We believe that all true believers are members of the universal church regardless of organizational affiliation.
